Who Does ELDT Impact?

  • Individuals who obtain a commercial learner’s permit (CLP) on or after February 7, 2022 will be required to meet the ELDT requirements.
  • Individuals who obtain a CLP before February 7, 2022 are not subject to the new ELDT regulations, so long as they obtain a CDL or endorsement before their CLP (or renewed CLP) expires.

The Theory Hazmat Certification is electronically submitted to the FMCSA no later than midnight of the first business day after the driver-trainee completes the training.

Step 1. Register for our online course! Students receive an email with a link to the training material after orders have been completely processed. Please check your spam/junk mail.

Step 2. Begin the course! The course is self paced and can be completed at any time using your phone, tablet, or computer.

Step 3. Complete the course! After completion of the course, we submit certificates to the Federal Registry at the end of each business day.
